Santos issues Juve call

Brazil left-back Andre Santos has said it would be a dream to move to Juventus, who have been linked with the Corinthians star.

Following an excellent Confederations Cup where Santos claimed a winner's medal with Brazil, the South American has caught the eye of many clubs in Europe, with Juve, Fiorentina, Roma and Stuttgart all reportedly interested in the 26 year old.

Speaking to Tuttosport, Santos revealed that if Juventus were to make a bid, he would be delighted to join the Turin side.

"Juventus? It's massive news to me. I have always dreamt of playing in Europe and possibly at a big club, so it would be a great move," Santos said.

"I would feel at home as [my countrymen] Diego and Amauri play at Juventus."

"We would play really well together. Robinho always tells me that there is no player as strong as Diego."

"Juve are one of the best clubs in the world, but it all depends upon what Corinthians decide."

It is already well known that Juventus are in the hunt for a left-back, and reports in the Italian press suggest they will move to sign Santos.

With the deal for Fabio Grosso having reportedly fallen through and Andrea Dossena's agent insisting his client is happy at Liverpool, Santos seems like the premier option for the Old Lady, especially given his excellent performance at the Confederations Cup.
