Jermaine Pennant is rumoured to be ready to swap the red half of Merseyside for the blue half.
According to News of the World, the England winger is thinking of making a controversial move to Everton.
Pennant, who spent last season on loan at Portsmouth will be available on a free transfer on July 1 and David Moyes has expressed his interest in the player.
The only obstacle will be Pennant himself, as he is worried that the move will be seen as betrayal by the club's fans.
A ‘friend' of Pennant said: "Jermaine wouldn't want to do anything to upset the Liverpool fans who have always been good to him."
Besides Everton, a couple of other English sides are keen on his services namely, Sunderland, Wigan Athletic and Manchester City.
