Newly-promoted Wolves have broken their transfer record to sign Reading striker Kevin Doyle for £6.5million.
Doyle's transfer fee is more double than Wolves' joint-record fees of £3m for Kenny Miller and Ade Akinbiyi.
He will be Mick McCarthy;s biggest transfer so far after the signings of Nenad Milijas and Marcus Hahnemann.
The Republic of Ireland international is expected to form a formiable strike force with Sylvan EbanksBlake.
And they will parade their new big-money signing at Molineux on Tuesday.
